i also like to use as minimum effects as i can,post recording,
no auto tune used in this studio...sorry,only real talent.

i like to think of it of it like a photo,& it's all in the preparation,dial in the right light and pose ,to the get the best look before i capture,
so i don't need to fix or doctor stuff after with a ton of digital effects or processing,
Same theory, but with sound.
i like to capture the real sound,and tidy it a little,so when you play live,this is what you sound like, no fakeness or over processed with digital computer effects you don't have or use live...and cant re create.

unless your style that you play,you use a ton of effects...that's what i will record,because that's what you are able to re create live.

My engineer Owen is skilled in using EQ, compression, and other processing techniques to make your music stand out...and not be brick walled and super squashed or over compressed as alot of music is today,retaining the dynamics of your music as it should be.

At Riverland Recording Studio, i use only the best equipment to ensure the highest quality sound for your music. using super powerful new gen processing power on a 'custom built for use' 64 bit system / daw, built with top of the range components,
with world class industry standard & modern top plug ins,
and a second daw set up too, which doubles as a back up rig & a electro dance music / and hip hop beat making set up,.
I do have some spares like strings for guitars,bass,some picks,some drums sticks,skins, in case of break down on yours end and you get caught out,
but i recommend coming to the sessions with back up bits (if you are a musician with instruments) due to the remote location with no music shops here to get stuff.

we have everything you need to create the perfect sound for your music..if your gear isn't up to par or breaks down during the session.

a maple 14' snare with die cast hoops
